Southwest Regional Camping Trip

I'm having a birthday party! That's going on!

All PFF is invited to the mega bash.

Presents, of course, are not mandatory, and optional, as I don't need too much stuff cluttering up my room. Probably one would suffice, but if you WANT TO you can give a gift.

But, of course, most of you will be at Comiccon, so, maybe a later date, after Comiccon.

 

I will be brining a copy of the News 5 coverage at the Cine Capri on VHS for all to watch. I have the full-resolution version in AVI format that (barely) fits on 1 CDR. PM me if you are interested in a copy.

 

I will need to collect money for the DRT helmets. Cost is now $25 shipped and will have accurately molded ear cups and a tutorial based on an actual AN-H-15. These should be virtually 100% accurate to the real flight helmet, but the cloth part we'll have to sew ourselves.

truly, the mobius will be in reach for the labor day weekend? how fortuitous! as it appears that my intentions to attend dragoncon have sadly been frustrated due to scheduling & monetary concerns. barring an intervention either divine or financial, i will remain bound within the confines of this aspect of my existential plane.

Oh yeah... if anyone has photos of any past events that you would like me to upload to Ofoto.com for you to share on our website, please bring them to the meeting. If you have digital pics, bring a CD-R with the full-resolution pictures. If you want to bring physical photos, I will scan them in for you and return them to you at the next meeting. Thanks!

 

UPDATE re comic-con

i'm editing the latest mission report to reflect the useage-based hotel rate info as listed earlier. i'll also be printing up copies of the report, maps of the convention center and the general vicinity (with special attention to where our hotels are in relation to each other, and where snacks can be procurred)(i hope). if possible i'd like to start collecting money for the hotel stay at the meeting. PLEASE BE AWARE that this is only to start, collection will continue till... well, two years after we get back from comic-con.
