How much are dues?

Where are meetings at?

 

well i'm kind of new. giving a shout out to billy dee for being the reason star wars is a classic. I have posted here a couple times. So what's up hot chicks!!!??

 

Hey, that was two questions!
Answer #1: Dues are not required. And I quote(Sideshow): ok, this was voted on by all attending members and unanimously approved (26-0) at the meeting on the 8th...

dues will NOT be collected and spent at the discresion of the officers. in stead, we will collect money as costs arise, and everyone will chip in if they want to. giving money is TOTALLY VOLUNTARY!
for smaller personal items, (such as t-shirts and name badges) you can just pay the cost for your personal item and that's it. (example: when i start making badges, just give me 5 dollars and i will have your badge made by the next meeting)
for larger ticket items (such as banners) we will start a pot, and if you want to throw in a few bucks, its up to you. our treasurer will record who pays and how much, so if we don't make enough money by the deadline, everyone who pays will get there money back.
food for the meetings will remain a pot-luck, although members are urged to bring canned soda and finger foods such as chips and cookies.(items that don't require utensils!)

this seems to be the simplest way, it puts the power in the hands of you the member, because you know exactly what the money is going to, we don't have to worry about tax status of non-profit status, and if you don't agree with spending money on something, don't put your money in!

Answer #2:Meetings have been at the Atomic Comics on Southern and Alma School, but that may change. See THISthread for more info.

That is a good question what does happen after they stop making star wars. What then??? (scream frantically) WHAT THEN!!??

 

Then Lucasfilm will feel such a void in their pocket books they will be forced to make more star wars...muahahhhaa!

Hey FiftyFootDwarf, I'm Idiots Array, co-City Rep for Phoenix Fan Force. Probably the most important thing to know about PFF is to have fun. We hold regular meetings and get-togethers where we just hang out, watch movies, play games, and talk about Star Wars. Keep your eyes on the boards or on the signature of one of the Officers for details about the next meeting.

The majority of us live with insatiable urges to get dressed up in Star Wars costumes and line up for weeks in advance to see the movies. But besides that, we have regular meetings and sporadic parties, and are a very friendly group.

Well I'd like to say hello and I'm new but I've been around for awhile. Some of you might know me, but a great number of you don't.
Nice to meet you and I hope to have a great deal of fun and rock the board at times but in a good way.
