In the special edition version i mean. The one with the replaced music over the Yub nub song. I kept hearing it on the radio and i swore i'd heard it somewhere before. Then it hit me. That chanting part from the phillip phillips song is right out of Return of the Jedi! I'd post the video for comparison but i don't know how you do that. You guys know the song i mean right? It's uncanny how similar it is to Jedi's celebration music.

Well, both songs have chants. That's about the similarity I can detect. Nothing uncanny about it. And I've been listening to "Home" ever since the American Idol finale - and the ROTJ cue since 1997 ;)

You gotta be kidding right? Remember i'm talking about special edition version here. It sounds awfully close to me. That's the first thing it reminded me of anyway.

I can see why you would think that, but it's definitely not a rip-off. The feel is slightly similar but, on the whole, it's very different.

They both use musical instruments in their recordings, eerie!

I can see what you're saying, but it's not at all remotely similar to the ROTJ Victory Celebration music.
