Whenever I load up Photoshop now, it starts through the initilizing processes, then it just closes.

I tried rebooting and reinstalling but no luck. I was just using it last nite too.

    Anyone have an idea?

Double check to make sure you have enough memory. That's usually the case. Check the system requirements for memory on the version you are running. Then, multiply that by 2. I'm serious, Photoshop is a memory hogger! It takes memory and won't let it go. So if you don't even meet the minimal requirements, you won't be doing much in Photoshop.
I'd recommend having at least 500 Mgs of RAM. That should give you enough breathing room all the way up to Photoshop 7.0.

Ok, I was just using Photoshop last nite.

And I tried freeing up some space and still no luck. (Was at 8 GB now at 13GB).

And I rebooted, like I said before, to start clean, but no luck.

That's RAM, buddy. Not HD space.

Yeah, but I still have the same amount of RAM as I did two days ago.

Like I said, I rebooted to clear memory and still nothing....buddy.

Long Shot : Maybe try dumping your preferences and trying again.

But it sounds like a conflict of some sort. Have you installed anything else very recently that can cause this? If you have done a completely fresh re-install then it's really hard to think what the problem could actually be.

Well, I noticed that it crashes at the same spot everytime. It was hard to notice because those words load up pretty quickly. But right when it says Color Prefrences, that's when it shuts down...

So if I were to dump prefrences, where and how would I do that?
