JCC Pick the lesser evil

I signed on at Bedford & Pearce a lifetime ago. Got to meet Rusty after a TOFOG gig at the Basement in Sydney. Signed CD and meeting the actor? Excellent. The music? Not excellent.

Anyway I picked TPM. It's a billion percent better than AOTC and Revenge of the ****. Boring, but more "Star WArs" than the rest of the prequels.

Indy IV has some beautiful moments, but... Shia the Beef. Tarzan swing. CGI monkeys. ALIENS. Yeah no.

(I'm sorry, but ever since a Columbia House ad parody in Mad magazine that appeared when I was younger, I've always wordplayed lesser with Joe Besser.)

When I made this thread, the point of the entire thing was to elect an evil, not become evil.

 

I was pretty mad when I saw it in cinemas, though.

 

My friends invited me to see it when it was released but I thankfully had a school yard falling out with one of them at the time which prevented me from accepting.

Agreed. Its not The Godfather Part 2, but its still a ****ing Godfather movie.

 

Yes. It's got enough political intrigue to make it worth watching. Plus, it finishes the story arc completely(although some could argue G2 ended it more poignantly with a fully corrupt new Godfather in Pacino's character. Like father like son...

But I like G3 anyway.Sofia's acting gets bashed and true, it's not Oscar quality, but it's not god-awful. Pacino and Garcia lift her scenes anyway.

I like the film. Glad Coppola made it.

BTW, not many people know this but Lucas helped his buddy Coppola out on G1 and did uncredited second unit shooting for the gangster mass killing montage.

 

I chose Indiana Jones 4. Sure it wasn't GREAT...but it was still better than Temple of Doom.

Unfortunately it did.
The second movie was annoying and pointless...but my god the third movie....


Also, Jack Black is the villain.

Important questions: Are we being forced to watch it Clockwork Orange style, or is it just playing in the background at all times? Are we allowed special features? Can we have alcohol?
