Pick up this week's New Times

This week's New Times features a huge article on Miami's action figure collecting fanbase. I, as well as some of my collection, came out in pictures and they have a piece of the article devoted to muah. Guess what else? I mentioned the Miami Sandtroopers in my interview and how we formed it. If you don't get a chance to pick the issue up (it's free), I'll still bring it to the next meeting.

Yeah, that picture is messed up (to not use a more vulgar word). When the photographer came to my house, she made me take these weird pictures, like the ones you just saw (I should have never mentioned I own a robe and Yoda mask) . All I asked her was a normal picture with my collection. But no, she insisted that I wear the costume.

 

LOL!!! The pic came out cool though...very stylish!!!

 

BTW, how'd they find out you were a big collector??? Did someone mention something to the reporters or something?? Or was the reporter a friend of yours???

 

The reporter came to the Miami board and clicked on everyone's profile, looking for anyone that posted in the Collecting board. I'm an active poster in that section.

i once got interviewed by a reporter and i was real hesitant at first but they do a good job of getting info from you lol
