Memph, TN Pictures From Paradiso?

Oh, J- I'll give you a yell about seeing Batman. I'll probably catch it opening day at Majestic or Paradiso at a 45pm showing, then catch it at Muvico that weekend.

 

No, I'm serious, Lin. I've never had a problem at Raleigh. It's a much better experience than Wolfchase, where teenagers sneak in to have sex while you're trying to watch a movie.

Maybe it's because no one drops off their teenagers at Raleigh to let the mall babysit them. Sometimes if you catch a matinee a week or so after a movie opens, you get the entire theater to yourself.

That happened at Muvico on the big screen on September 11, 2003. Everyone was so scared of another attack downtown was a ghost town. Marge and I caught MIB2 and Spiderman for a $5 dbl feature. I've had that happen at the Majestic a couple times during the week, too.

 

It's always great when you have a whole theater to yourself. Then no one gets pissed at you when you shout out "HE'S RIGHT BEHIND YA', BURT! LOOK OUT!"

 

I hope you don't mind me stealing one of your pics for my cosplaylab section, Kell. All the pics we took ended up being out of focus and blurry.

I went to the premier at the Paradiso with my friend Bryce. My mom won the tickets off the Buzz. I think if Bryce and I said thank you to her one more time she would've choked me...and him probably. We mistakenly thought that we needed to be there by 3:45!! We waited in line for like 3 hours and I wasn't sure if I could take my backpack in so my dad had to wait with us. We were bored after like the first half hour so Bryce and I sat on the floor with some cards and played speed till we started moving listening to our iPods the whole time. We met a real nice couple and it was nice for my dad to have someone to talk to other than two teenage Star Wars fans. There were only like ten people infront of us in line.

But I'm almost positive that my dad is in the background of one of your pictures, Schmootika. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw it!

Well, you can't see all of him. It's the pic with the couple holding up their passes. All you can see are his arms and his back...but I'm pretty sure it's him because that's where we were standing. That was probably when I gave him my backpack before we started moving.
