OOC Pit Row (The AARC Discussion Thread)

Since I forgot to mention this earlier, there are two weeks off for the offseason now. The 125 season will kick off on the 17th. So make your plans accordingly, and keep on posting. Let's keep growing this game.

Attention, all racers:

I have a couple of questions for you all regarding next season. I'd like for you to PM me your answers.

1. What do you feel like an appropriate crash/DNF level is for the game, percentage-wise? I had it at roughly 40% this season.
2. Do you like the format of the game (i.e. results on Saturday, the race score format with the 1-10 roll, etc.)?
3. What do you feel could be improved upon?
4. Would you like to see additional material from me as GM (i.e. more thorough introductions of courses, more NPC interactions, etc.)?

Geez, Mcear is on a serious tear. That's consecutive wins on the AARC circuit, and 5 wins in her last 7 or 8 races. Unbelievable.

 

I'm tempted to start calling her 'Meteor' Mcear.

 

Results likely will be coming Monday.

 

The strange thing about Mcear is that I have her listed as entry #13 on the ARJD roster that I use to determine final standings. Guess that's her lucky number.

 

I intend to get the update for this past week up today. Be on the lookout for that.

 

With the last race of the season coming up here, things are really going to be crazy!

 

Did you do this intentionally or was this just luck of the draw?

 

I needed a Core world, and so I went to a list of possible items. It was random from there.

Although, it's very possible that it was intentional.

 

And that's a wrap on the season, folks! Hard to swallow when two player characters come up just short of winning it all (i.e. we all hate NPCs, so thanks a bunch, Ackbar!). That being said, congratulations to BartSimpson-SithLord for coming in second in the ARJD and earning his place in the AARC next season!

 

Important Note:

As you probably are all aware, I will be going off to grad school starting next month, and thus I am going to be scaling back my forum involvement. Thus, I will put this game on hiatus for a while to get things sorted out.
