Buff, NY Pittsburgh ComicCon Accomodations

I plan on going Friday night, Saturday, and maybe Sunday. I've already booked my room at the Days inn. I was going to go with the Radison but I got two day for a little more than it would of cost for one there. Plus we stayed there last year and wasnt really that far of a drive.

 

Yes, we did discuss this at the meeting.

Days Inn - $58 /night
Radisson - $96 / night

Ok, next question. Who reserved rooms already and at which hotel? I want to make reservations ASAP and we'd like to be in the same hotel as the rest of the group.

 

Larry, Janie, and Dan are in the Dayss Inn Monroeville. Mindy, Jay, Danielle, Jason, Jaime and I are all going to be booking at the Radisson attached to the con.

The wife, daughter and I are already booked at the Radisson. A little more expensive but much more convenient. Besides, a majority of the celebrities stay at this hotel. Who knows, you might get booked next to one of them. We're going all three days and leaving first thing Friday morning.

 

I just went online to the Rad's website & it now says it's 109 a night. I haven't called yet to double check, but maybe the proce before was a special cause of the show.

Tickets for a single day are $18. Just received word back from the promoter that admission on Sunday is free if entering in costume.

 

Do the tickets for the FanForce dinner on Saturday night have to be purchased prior to that date or can we get tickets that night at the door?

 

I believe they have to be purchased in advance. I'll ask and see if this is correct, then get back to you.

well i might have friday satarday of now, but i dont know for sure, i will now on friday. if i do have those days off, i will be going and using a vacation day for sunday, so i may be looking for a ride and a room to share in...

 

ok, i have fridays and saturdays off now, and for that sunday i am gunna use a personal day. so is there and open spot in a room? I will be willing to sleep on the floor with a pillow case...so that would split the price even more.....and also is there room in a vehicle?

 

Gil and I are heading down first thing Sat. morning.
