As some of you know the Awards are held at the Pittsburgh comicon this year.
The Star Wars Association of Pittsburgh has some wonderful Panels and social Activities to make your time at the con a more pleasurable one. Below are some of the activities break down of what you can find at the con:

Self Discovery in Star Wars: Introspection through Psychoanalysis and New Historicism Jeff Carey, Exploring the emergence of self-identity through Luke Skywalker's journey and struggles with internal and external forces.

Friday Night Social

Doors open at 8 pm
movie starts by 9 pm
FanForce Pittsburgh will be hosting a Friday night social for any FanForce members and their guests.

It will be held at the Radisson Hotel, which adjoins the Expomart where the Comicon is held, and will be in the Monroe 3 room. This room is one of the ones used for Star Wars panels.

Very casual. Snacks and beverages will be provided, and we'll be screening the very funny, professionally produced fanfilm, A Great Disturbance, tentatively to be given a personal introduction by the film's creators.

If you plan to attend, please pm me, TRADMIC so I can get an idea on how many people to expect.

TATTOO CONTESTFirst prize is $100, Second prize is $50, Third prize is $30. Those interested must register by 2:30 PM Saturday, April 28, at the SWAP FanForce table in the Dealer Room. Entrants must be present at 3 PM, in the Monroe Room III to participate. Tattoos must clearly be Star Wars, sci-fi or comic related. Judges' decisions on qualifying tattoos are final. Registration will be Friday and Saturday at the SWAP table. Registration on Saturday must be in no later than 2:30 pm

Judging will be at 3:oo PM on Saturday, April 28 in the Allegheny Room.

If the person does not plan on being there at the actual judging time, they should have a photo of their tattoo taken at the SWAP table and print their info on a form that we'll attach to the picture.
