Planning thread for "Lightswords of Fury" Warning: SPOILERS

This is the planning thread for my AU Story "Lightswords of Fury", which is a collaboration between myself and Marawannabe. Estimated date for posting to start is currently mid to late April.


Warning to readers that enter this thread: there will be spoilers here. I want some scenes to remain a surprise to the reader, so unless you are a spoiler freak, try to stay away.


The story is set about 8-9 months following "The Last Command" and ignores every book and comic written after that, for my own purposes.


Actually, this was my own story idea, but Marawannabe has contributed towards a few scenes.

okay, so far, Luke has found a datacard saying that giving his lightsaber to Mara is basically a proposal of marriage. Mara gets mad at him and runs away from him. Leia takes a look at the datacard and finds something that Luke missed.

Leia and Han, with their twins, find Mara in the Grand Hall, just staring at the wall. Jaina reaches her arms out to Mara, wanting to be held. (I modeled Jaina in this story on my own niece - who is 2 1/2 years old and basically can't get along without her favorite Aunt).

Mara holds the girl for a moment, telling her that she is a very good little girl.


Leia takes Mara for a woman to woman talk. She reveals her feelings for Luke.

She and Luke go out for a friendly dinner at a new cafe called "The Sands Cafe", which serves food from Tatooine.


Mara starts to tell Luke her true feelings, but a clumsy waiter interrupts her, spilling water on her.

Luke quickly pays for the meal and escorts her out of the cafe. They start walking through the Coruscant Memorial Gardens. Mara asks Luke which star Tatooine is (trying to get a conversation started). Luke isn't sure and their faces start to come closer and closer.......nope, I'm not telling you what happens!!!


I actually have a lot more written than that, but this planning thread is more for the chapters/parts that haven't been written.


Marawannabe, remember what we have discussed via PMs? Let's get started talking about those chapters.

Okay, sometime later today (7:00 this evening-ish) we will be planning another few scenes.


I want to keep some stuff a secret, so I hope we are careful not to let readers see what will be happening.

I need to rework part of the first chapter after the discovery of the datacard.



That will be what we will work on tonight.

 

He mumbled to Leia, "Jacen needs his diaper changed. Watch Jaina for a moment."

Leia, still examining the datacard that she had retrieved from the grand hallway's floor, turned around and said, "What Han?" As he rushed towards a public refresher, holding Jacen in front of him. Jaina took that moment to crawl away towards Mara.

She batted at Mara's pant leg as if it were a new toy she had discovered. Mara, feeling an unfamiliar, yet foreign touch, looked down. The intense brown eyes staring up at her seemed to soften Mara, even if just for a moment. She leaned down to pick up the baby.



Marawannabe, as soon as you have finished writing your papers, we'll continue with this scene and rewriting up to that :::looks around and hopes no future readers are reading::: little date......

 

okay, Marawannabe, we have the following scenes to work out:



before the honeymoon? wow, I haven't written that part yet...we have tons of work to do....maybe I'll try to write up an idea tonight...and then we can work on revising it tomorrow (hopefully) or Thursday (after 7:00 of course).

-Leia and Mara's talk

-Luke's -------- and Mara's answer

-Their announcement regarding their
----------, to Han and Leia

-Jaina's attempting to say "Aunt Mara" and maybe it'll be "Aunt Marwra"

-Having dinner with Wedge Antilles and his fiancee Iella (that's one of the few EU things i am keeping - but I need to look up the timeline to make sure I get the date right)

- ------ ----- (possibly) and maybe a scene where Leia takes Mara shopping at a store that is the GFFA equilavent of victoria's secret......

-the ------- (and the possibility of the son of an Old Republic Jedi coming out of hiding to perform the ceremony)

-The Reception (and maybe have a GFFA equivalent of a dollar dance and have little Jacen tug on Mara's dress to get her to dance with him)

-Luke and Mara sneaking out of the
---------.......


-I might rewrite the ---------. Its going to be PG - no PG-13 or R descriptions.......


-I'll still keep the part where Mara gets sick and thinks she's pregnant - and it was just food poisoning.


I'm planning to have Mara find out that she is -------- at about the time of the twins' 2nd birthday. So, they are about 18-20 months old when Luke and Mara --- --- ----.


I purposely hid a few words here and there to try to hid stuff from anyone that is possibly reading this thread......
