My boss had a little Come To Jeebus talk with the troops today, then we had cookies. The mutiny seems to have stalled. Also, I will only have to train 6 people at a time, through the end of March, when we go live with the application. Just a little nervous, but it's looking a little better. Still gonna end up working over the weekend, but I can do that in my pajamas, which is always a good thing.

Hello, unmitigated work hell. I'd say I missed you... except wait, no, I really, really didn't. And the no end in sight part? What a special touch.

Freaking Nero program. I thought it was just for CD burning, but it seems to come with a whole lot more. Without my permission, it went and made itself the default program for all music, sound and video files on my computer. And I'm having an annoying time trying to set everything right again.

Work - had someone confirm for me that yeah, it's going to be hell for me. On one hand, nice to know that I'm not over-reading the situation. OTOH... not fun.

 

Who needs Twilight, or one of those other super teenage angsty shows? I'm in teenage angst hell right now!

 

Is your sister still driving you nuts? My advice, take the summer off from school and come up here every weekend. A bit of the escape should help.


My rant.

I am angry all of the time, and I can't seem to push past it. I may have achieved steel over this past year, but that doesn't mean a thing right now. This is the point of the season where my seasonal junk kicks into overdrive and with everything going on in my life, I just feel helpless and hopeless and small.

I wish I could look forward to something, but I dread even Starfest despite the fact that two of my best friends and greatest loves will be rejoining our merry band for the weekend. I want to run, but there isn't anywhere to go that is far enough away to suffice.

She's got her moments. Most of the time she's not even here. But then it's like a hurricane comes through the house and turns everyone upside down. Coming to Denver sounds like a REALLY good idea. Plus I need to find a place up there and stuff, so you'll all probably see more of me leading up the final move.
