Okay a sensible answer to a rather odd looking question.

I have been ordering from play.com for a long time now, and there have been three instances where I have had to question them; AOTC (arrived three days later than expected), Run Lola Run (arrived this weekend, two days later than expected), and LOTR (which I already have a copy of, but I ordered one for my aunt as a birthday gift on Nov 3rd, and it still hasn't arrived yet)

Actually, I've just this second finished writing an email to them trying to find out where it is...

I've bought some rather large items from them before, the biggest being Band of Brothers a couple of weeks back, which was £45, and the customs official never questioned that, so I am quite happy with the service.

I really wouldn't worry if I were you.

And I thought that this thread was about importing adult DVDs.

OK. I shall say this only once. Play.com is based in the channel islands. therfore, you are not importing the goods. they already have done that so customs are not involved when you order it. no duty to pay. ever. comprendé?

I thought as much cause jersey is a british place and therefore no need to check stuff coming in/out. like europe with their open doors policy which lets thousands of tonnes of drugs/guns/illegal immigrants through ever day.
