You didn't give us enough information to diagnose you over the internet, the internet requires details. Dry cough? Productive? (If so what color?), Hard to breathe? Other symptoms? Where have you been? If you've been to NYC or northern Illinois could be Legionnaires. Could be histoplasmosis if you've been around bat or bird droppings.

But seriously, you should have a doctor check it out, I'd bronchitis is a likely suspect, at least from info given, it usually hangs around a while.

I have been to northern Illinois. It's a terrible, terrible place.

As long as it wasn't recently and you weren't taking a shower in a veterans home (as in an assisted living for veterans, not some random veteran's home) in northern IL, you should be safe... from Legionnaires at least.

Adult-onset asthma? That was one of the symptoms for me.

Have you been to West Africa recently? If so, it's probably malaria.

Try this - 100% success rate since being introduced back in 1776.

Have someone kick you in the family jewels. The cure is immediate.
In fact, patients are so satisfied that they are at a loss for words.

Nekhbet, what have I to do with this thing?

It means you poison yourself in a wretched reverence to the latest invention of the capitalist project, the whole structure of which ought to be torn down by good people.

Could be the whooping cough, that lasts for a 100 days. I remember having it a couple of times and I had to be cautious on how much I consumed if I ate too much, I would end up bringing most of it back up.

    unpleasant virus in the world.

Last year I had a cough that lasted a good two solid months.

If you got the ****ing vaccine for pertussis you wouldn't have had to deal with that and neither would have anyone you came in contact with for that 100 days. COME ON, DUDE.

the vaccine did nothing for me when I was seven.

Vaccine is only good when everyone gets the vaccine done. It's only partially effective and not 100 percent effective, I think it's only 18% effective.

When they give out the vaccine it's only good for the previous years cold and not this years.

You probably had to get Tdap (the adult booster) because you were 7 when you got the original dose, and waning immunity exists. They didn't used to do it that way back in 2004, but now they give adults a pertussis booster with the tetanus and diphtheria vaccines called Tdap. Children under 7 get DTaP.

Is there mold in your house Jabbadabbado? I had an issue like that a few years ago and that was the cause.

I know for certain there's mold in my refrigerator and in my gym shoes, but I don't know about anywhere else.

Have you had any runs in with Jedi recently? If so, you may be experiencing a side effect of "Force Crush". Encountered a patient once who experienced it. He had a hacking problem for the rest of his life.
