PLEASE - HELP US BUILD OUR SETS !!!!

We at Backyard Productions are now well on our way in to pre-production of our fan film sequel to TESBY, The Emperor's New Clones!

We are host a massive production weekend in Lincoln UK this Bank Holiday 28-30 May!

If you would like to come along and give us a hand, painting, playing with some costumes, eating the food etc, let me know as soon as you can.

We can provide accom and piles of grub!

By the way if ANYONE can give me a good contact to the 501st UK Garrison, I would be very grateful. All my contacts seemed to have dried up!

I'd just like to add that the sets are going to be massive. As in our last film, everything is going to filmed on sets. No outside filming, and no full CGI environments. For those of you who haven't worked in real sets, it's gonna be a great experience for any and all involved!!

The UK FanFilm market is very small, so let's show the Yanks that we can do things better than them!!!

 

I'm going to a Duran Duran concert that weekend or I would have loved to help out. Sorry!

are there age limits, at either end of the spectrum?

 

Under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult

Over 100's are lying about thier age!

 

well i know someone who is 16 and may wanna go.. that cool? and what does it entail? painting sets...building sets etc...

Here is the itinary for the weekend:

Set construction: This is the main priority. We must build and paint the set(s) before we can dress them.

Tech testing: We will be hoping to further our Jib and dolly work. The Dolly will require extensive testing.

Blue screen and lighting: We still need to continue with our blue screen work. Hopefully if the sets are built, we can start testing in the ?real? environment.

Costumes: We will be making costumes from materials and assessing costumes brought in from the crew and our last film.

 

right sounds as if i might be able to go. what are start and end times? i hate to keep asking questions but they just keep poppin up!

coz i live local and would go home but dont know when i would be back etc.

I would love to help but I as many other are taking exams at the moment. As for a good 501st contact, you cannot better thebrit, he is a poster here and a great guy(he gave me lots of costume advice, when i needed it).

 

That weekend we are primarily set constructing.

We will be dabbling with the cameras - we have just got our 20 metre green screen from the States to play with!

Principal photogrpahy is 12-28 Aug this year. But we can't film if we don't have our sets - HELP US!!!

16 yr olds are more than welcome. Under 16, bring a reponsible adult please.
