It's beatiful.

Warning, this baby is huge.

Still, look at it, the Brightest lights are in the US. One huge light spread out.

Europe doesn't have nearly as much as the US though.

It's one beatiful picture.

That's one big compliment for that picture, I have only called three things beatiful, that is seriouly.

Ha! If you think New York is bright, take a look at Tokyo.

 

Yeah, but the US has them spread out and looking bright, very bright.

But Japan wins in the densely concentrated lights.

I can see me in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

A large portion of Western China are mountains & Small villages, thus not that much of cities.

 

It's beautiful. It's one of those things that set you into a philosophical mode.

One of the biggest reasons why people come to America... their own country is boring...right ? ?

 

Think of all the contaminants and irritants being released into the atmosphere, all the rivers being heated and consequent death of wildlife, all the dams being built and same...to produce those pretty lights...

Nah... It's just that America is so darn shiny at night

Look at the glorious amounts of energy wastage.

 

Hey, America is RICH, and the Feds also gets a lot of taxes...

 

If you don't like dams, let them build nuclear power plants, which are now safer than coal plants.

Or think of the gift of LIFE that has passed to ALL of humanity because of that evil technology. You see, humans should only live to an average of some 30-40 years. Now, even in desperately poor nations the life expectancy is in the 50s, and in the 60s and 70s in the developed nations.

 

You mean there's a good side to manipulating the environment, too? Interesting.

 

Actually, plenty of people lived into their 70s and 80s, contrary to what some say.

Some even lived to be over 100.

Some died because of rattlesnake bites, and disease.

 

Those pretty lights are evil! Let's all go buy some candles, think of the children.
