Well if you'd told me in your PMs what the other people had told you, then perhaps I'd have been able to answer it. But you didn't give me a chance.

all i'm thinking is it's very fishy the question of another rsa was raised in wa then hawk comes in swinging that there shouldn't be one from our state, then he becomes a mod.

Simple explanation - that thread was one of the things that caught the OFH's attention. Or mine, anyway. I'd had it raised by a few different people (Hawk one of them), that we needed a new RSA. Hence I was looking around for names, and his conduct in that thread was impressive. Especially for someone who did it not expecting anything in return.

People post comments and thoughts in other chapters all the time, Soup, we've never had a rule against that. If you don't want someone from another state to post in a particular thread you created, you simply need say so and I'm sure they'll respect that.

How come a large chunk of the WA boards knew who the new RSA was going to be almost a week ago?

It kind of implies Hawk knew what he was going to get in return.....

Me thinks you have a leak in your little chain of command...

 

I don't think any of you knew I was becoming RSA. You can suspect what you want, but I doubt you had concrete evidence of it, because I certainly didn't.

 

We suspected earlier in the week, we had it confirmed later in the week.....
Either way we KNEW!

I don't see how they could have, Soup - the decision wasn't finalised until about two days ago, and we were still getting final opinions as late as yesterday. So if anyone tells you they knew the decision for sure that long ago, they're not telling the truth.

I'll ask you this outright: HOW? The only place it was discussed was the OFH. Are you telling me one of you has access there? Because that's the only way you could have known for sure.
