I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who voted for me. I hope that i can live up to your expectations of me.

I'll leave t at that for now before i become a hysterical blubbering mess and start thanking everone from God on down.

Well done to Ogli for getting the position. Look forward to the first year of official FFUK: North and what we can make with what is a good group of people. Hopefully fun, not a lot of politics, and just enjoy ourselves. Ogli, you have my faith, friendship and support when you need it

I would also like to thank Terry (Fatburt), because without him we would have never had this forum, nor a FFUK: North. Another poster (I think it was Ramble_Boba but being 32 now has addled my brain) and myself were debating on a thread in the main FFUK area about a Northern chapter, but we got no response. So I assumed all hope for a Northern group was gone, especially after the Grimsby chapter vanished Terry started up the discussion again, ran with it, got us this forum area and arranged the first big meet at York, with the help of all those who went. So I think he deserves a round of applause for making the North work, when I failed miserably to even get a working discussion going lol

Thank you dude for getting us off the ground under your excellent stewardship

We have a good number of people on here, with a lot of good ideas - its a cool gang. I know this will be a great chapter, and not just because the North is a great area of the UK to live and be from. So with a New Year approaching faster than my old bones appreciate , let's have a great new start to our fantastic chapter.

to Ogli again, to Terry, and lets not forget Dave our excellent secretary (I am now writing that PM to you the moment I press send on this post, I swear, I know it is overdue a long time, but ask my friends in real life and you'll find out I am skatty that way now it seems - too many qualifications addled my brain it seems ) - so to Dave too. Heck, to all of ya (no I am not on drinks, drugs or anything else right now )
