Full Series Plot Holes

Well since I noticed some here and there so far I diced it was time to start this puppy up so lets delve into it shall we.

 

Well in the new episode...

R2 has footage and audio recordings of the ghost crew. Which means, if he was lucky he would have caught Ezra using the force or Ezra and Kanan talking about the force and Jedi training. So...will Bail know those two are Jedi now? or did he already suspect it with using that Jedi line?

Maybe. But during the Clone Wars there were Jedi everywhere. You probably didn't have to be a Jedi to hear one being said. If you liked it, you would carry it with you. The footage R2 has will most likely confirm Bail's suspicions, if he has any.

 

I wonder if this is the first jedi he has ran into since obi one and yoda.

 

R2 is notoriously tight lipped & very bad at passing on information. He didn't happen to mention that he'd already been to the Lars home back before the Clone Wars. Or tell Luke that the creature on Dagobah was Jedi Master Yoda, as he would know from his dealings with the Jedi back in the old days (he & Yoda were both at the Naboo celebration for example).

 

Fair point. Hmm. Do you think he would lie to Bail about what he saw with the Rebels crew in terms of holding information back?

 

Ha, no I'm just saying he's either forgetful or shy at speaking up sometimes

 

So...R2 needs to go to some confidence classes then.

 

I remember GL saying that R2D2 had his memory wiped along with C3P0.

 

If that's the case he should've had Bail say in RotS "Have these droids minds wiped"

 

Do you have a link or anything? C3PO I can understand. But how many people can understand astromech units besides of few beeps here and there?

 

R2 never had a memory wipe.

 

When they're plugged into a translator (like on Luke's X-Wing) anyone can understand them.

Oh, okay. I wasn't sure how that worked. Ha, I always Luke knew how to understand droids because of his time with his Aunt and Uncle on the farm. They must have gone through a few droids before R2 and C3PO in A New Hope.

Kanan surely would've recognised R2 as Anakin Skywalker's personal droid.

 

Not necessarily. Kanan was just a kid during the Clone Wars, so he was probably going to various classes throughout each day. R2 never really went around the Jedi Temple with Anakin, so unless Kanan went down to the Temple hangar and saw them there, it's unlikely he knew who R2 belonged to.

 

You should rename this thread to Rebels Plot Holes thread ( IMO ) since we already have The Clone Wars Plot Holes Thread , just so we can avoid confusion with new members

 

I can't rename it but it does say rebels in front of it.

 

I assume a lot of people can understand them. Anakin, Luke, Sabine, Ahsoka, were all seen talking to R2.

 

Why would bail want the empire to know about any jedi at all.

 

R2 droids are a dime a dozen. If you have seen one you have seen them all, unless you specifically remember their name you aren't likely to be able to tell the difference. Much like you wouldn't be able to tell your friends 2014 Red Mustang GT from some random dudes 2014 Red Mustang GT unless you either knew their license plate number or looked inside the car.

 

Have we seen any Other R2 droids.
