Still figuring out how to put most of the better photos from this weekends activities. I should have them up by tonight at the lastest. The Darth Maul, Padme, Anakin, & Aunt Beru were the biggest hits. Also, Watto's Interactive Junkyard turned out great. I want to thank all of my employees who helped out, dressed up, and didn't complain.

"That's two you owe me junior."

as i looked threw the pics, i really liked the ones of, Watto's Junkyard, Watto, the one with everyone together, Padme/Darth Maul together, and the ones with the 3 org. Star Wars movies, those ones really stuck out to me. the one costume at the very bottom was very good (has a green lightsaber), looked like it was right from the dressing room. i really liked what po6 did for promoting star wars with Watto's junkyard, which was really neat, esp. how they had episode I playing on one tv, the org. 3 on another, and the trailers for AOTC on a 3rd, really good job on the junkyard, and the costumes very excellent as well, very detailed...

Get paid to be a star wars character? Now that's a job for me! Outstanding pictures. I was truly impressed, and I think it should be our goal to do something even cooler for the final chapter of Star Wars, Episode 3. Only 3 years left to plan!

The pics are really nice. I especially like the ones of the Junkyard, and the Padme/Maul one is good too.

Thank you everybody for the kind words. I do appriciate them all. To let everyone in one some of the secrets...

The whole promotion was thrown together in record time. I really must say again that I couldn't have done it without my friend June, I still owe her big time. The idea to even do something for Star Wars was fueled when I took a trip with a fellow employee out to Sci-Fi City so he could buy a Darth Maul Lightsaber. While I was there I struck up a conversation with the owner, and he wound up showing me photos of the event at Disney in 99'. Seeing those pictures and having done other large scale promotions in the past really got me to thinking that it was in fact possible. I didn't know how, I just knew I wanted to do it.

Soon I found myself on the Orlando board, and the Costuming/Props one as well. I learned all the speak and asked tons of questions and read through hundreds of posts til the wee hours of the morning. I hatched the idea of having a Watto Interactive Junkyard while work one day. I have this old friend whom I meet back in the pre-summer of 99. He got a job at the theatre just because of Episode I. As doormen we spent hours just watching that movie from the back of auditorium #4 and he is sorely missed this time around, if you're reading this. Anyways, he was fortunate enough to win a life size Watto at a drawing at a local Publix that summer and its sat in his parents house ever since. I though he should reach his full potenial and thrive in a junkyard of his own. The display was a blast to create. Mad paint props go out to JedisDoItBest and my friend Marshall who helped paint it with me. If you squwint real hard you can see the 'Twin Suns' in the background, even a real nice astromech droid cruising by. A lot of employees and friends all help out with donations of DVD players, TV's, VCR's, Tapes, and our cousre junk to break, paint and make worthy of Star Wars. I have lot more photos and will try to post them as well. I would also like to thank John Cunningham for the awesome job on the Darth Maul make-up and thanks for lending us your Special Edition posters.

Now, the costumes are a whole different story that deserves a thread of its own, when I feel better and get of my current cold I'll make one, and explain the great detail that when in to making them. Also, I there is anyone out there that would like a costume I'm sure that my friend, and I would be more than willing to talk to you about it.

    Take It Easy
