(Sorry if there was already a thread, I didn't see one.)
This came out Tuesday last week. It's a replica journal like the Ezra, Sabine, and Rey ones that have been released. I was curious if anyone picked it up yet and if there was any cool new info in it? It would be cool if it had someone tie-ins to Before the Awakening or even possibly the Poe Dameron comic series. I'm planning on ordering mine so it arrives with my copy of Catalyst next week.

So that part in the Lego Force Awakens game is canon

    So, I'm guessing

Is an editorial error? "...where I hitched a ride to Yavin 4 with his buddy." - it seems like they're talking about getting him to the Resistence Base, D'Qar. Not the Rebel base, Yavin 4. Oops!

EDIT: Oh, actually not an error! If only I'd kept reading :p See Revanfan1 below :)

I just noticed it's out of stock on Amazon.com. It also seems to be impossible to find from other retailers online...
Did this actually not come out yet? Amazon.com has the release date as Nov 1...

No, one of the other pages said he parked Black One on Yavin IV before he went to Jakku. Then he went back to Yavin to get Black One and rush to Takodana.

I think they had a production problem of some sort. I checked in with a local Barnes & Noble on November 1 and they hadn't received their shipment. I haven't checked back since so I don't know if they ever got it in, but yeah, the evidence suggests one way or another this book never made it to retail on the release date.

I checked in with Michael Kogge's Twitter feed and it seems the book is available now at Target, with Amazon and B&N receiving it "soon." No word on what happened behind the scenes or why, but if you want it now I guess Target's the place to go.

I'm really looking forward to this book. Unlike Reys survival guide which didn't have any new story elements, this like ezra and sabines has brand new entries which can be included in a timeline

Amazon UK has a date of Dec 28 for it and says 'currently unavailable'.

I saw it at Barnes & Noble a couple days ago as part of a three-pack with Rey's Survival Guide and the Aliens/Ships of the Galaxy bind-up. They still hadn't received individual copies though. Weird!

Poe is from Yavin 4? That's kind of weird.

Rey's Survival Guide definitely hinted at some stuff about Jakku.

Also, it had a picture of royalty on hapabores. Worth the price of admission right there.

Why? They established a colony there are the tail-end of the GCW.

Shattered Empire ended with his parents leaving the military and moving to Yavin 4 to raise Poe.

I'm hoping we get a bit more detail on his service in the New Republic Navy, the setting of the pre-TFA era, and his actual unit Rapier Squadron. :D

Since I've had no luck in-store or with Amazon.com, I went ahead and ordered this from Walmart.com. It should be here Wednesday. This has been a very elusive book...

I was at Target today and found it there (I'm in the US). It was in the section with the general Early Reader books, not the Star Wars specific area.

So now that this has been released, who has it? what's in it? what awesome info is there that Wookieepedia is slow to update?

Apparently, it's very hard to get, in no small part because Studio Fun is shutting down.
