    The Story. . .

Pokemon were always a constant part of Vicar Steele's childhood. His parents had been Pokemon breeders and trainers and occupied a large expanse of countryside with their ranch and conservatorium and Vicar himself had spent much of his time with the numerous species and breeds. In his innocent heart he had grown to love them all and they him. As he grew innocent pre-adolscence Vicar immersed himself in Pokemon research, study, and battling. He quickly became an accomplished trainer despite his age. Enthusiastic and bright, Vicar's career looked promising; unfortunately, tragedy overlooked this.

With mere days remaining before Vicar would be shipped off to an elite Pokemon trainer school an attack took place on his simple village. Crazed Pokemon of a sinister sort came upon them in drones and set about single-handedly ravaging homes and massacring the villagers. Vicar's parents were two such victims. Yet, with some twisted; yet, happy ray of fate smiling down on him Vicar was able to escaped unharmed.

Dazed and beaten, Vicar stumbled through the countryside where he was rescued by a large, muscular man covered with scruff and a fair collection of scars. He revealed himself to be Manuel Mullen a specialized trainer who was head of an underground organization known as Sun Shadow that taught Pokemon and their trainers alike to duel for use in the efforts against Team Rocket and other, darker forces.

Throughout his formative years Vicar endured the harsh training and brutal hand of Mullen that set out to mold he and his appointed Pokemon (an Abra hand-selected for him) into an intimidating and vicious force. He succeeded. By 18 Vicar was the best in his class and graduated into the force with honors. He brought about many victories against the dark side of the Pokemon world and either with his own two hands or the might of his Pokemon.

Regardless of his feats tragedy appeared to have a personal vendetta against him. On the night of August 13th, another very similar Pokemon attack as the one that claimed his village at 11 took place on the headquarters of Sun Shadow. This time Vicar was not so lucky. The crazed and strangely-enhanced Pokemon murdered his mentor, Mullen, and his precious Abra before his very eyes before turning on him.

Bloody and beaten, he was left for dead. Yet, once again a twisted finger of fate reached down and scooped him out of the tragedy; yet, it might as well have let him die. What remained of his body was discovered by Team Rocket members and carried back to thier base where he was revived using mechanical parts. When he awoke he found that the replacements parts keeping him alive were outfitted to bind him to the will of the Rocket members.

Unable to resist he was plunged into forced servitude to Team Rocket which enlisted him to steal, plunder, kill, and destroy, and with his training Vicar was frighteningly good at it. His mind broken and his body enslaved Vicar scouts the countryside on missions. A singular force that poses a threat to Pokemon and trainer alike. A force that must be stopped.

News of Vicar's bloody exploits have traveled far and wide across the lands of Kanto and Johto leaving numerous trainers in fear. Police have formed an elite task force to deal with the threat. Also, and against the wishes of police, numerous trainers have taken it upon themselves to seek out and take down this threat. However, there are many that believe their is more to the tale of Vicar Steele than meets the eye.

What You Should Know. . . (aka THE RULES)

Hunter's Regime is obviously a darker representation of the Pokemon Universe than the original Anime first depicted. Therefore, there is the high possibility of various deaths and attacks on both trainer and Pokemon alike. Also, this tal

Yes, I have great ideas in store for this RPG is designed to be multifaceted and engaging (or so I hope) a darker take on the Pokemon world as a whole. I would encourage you and anyone else you can round up to join!
