Oh, I meant time for Kyp to argue for dragonite. Obviously, articuno looks like the clear-cut winner. In any case I'm away from home and my connect... I dunno whether to trust it or not. I'll get judgments out as soon as I'm sure, just cause it's so important.

The only chance that Dragonite has, is to get in a Thunderwave, paralyze Articuno, and then unleash with a Hyper Beam.

Lot of ifs in that scenario though.

Just looked at the stats. Yeah, dragonite has a chance but... Articuno takes it more often than not with the type advantage and its own moves that may freeze and whatnot.

Not that it really means much, but this match is probably Celebi's.

For one thing, Celebi's stats are all superior to Kingdra's in every category. Secondly, just about all of Kingdra's offense (which consists of water moves) is reduced due to Celebi's resistance to water. Thirdly, Celebi has the ability to use Recover and Heal Bell to heal itself of any damage or stats. And last, the enviroment is not aquatic, which favors Celebi.

Again, it means nothing in the scheme of things, but Celebi should win.

Yeah. Kingdra is good, and even better with a quality trainer, but things are definitely tipped in Celebi's favor. Kingdra even lacks a resistance to Grass moves, so he's going to be taking the full strength of most of Celebi's attacks. Celebi is a lot smaller and more agile than Kingdra, too, so that's on his side. Good match, but I see Celebi taking it.

Recover will come into play here, perhaps more than once, but Celebi will eventually win a good fight, I think. Only really good because of the trainer. And if it were a better trainer I might vote for kingdra, but Misty isn't all that.

So that makes it official, then? I guess since the championship match is done, I get the "trial" Pokemon draft crown.

And to cap it off, I give you our team anthem:

    Metalingus - by Alter Bridge

I've been defeated and brought down
Dropped to my knees when hope ran out
The time has come to change my ways!

On this day I see clearly
    Everything has come to life
A bitter place and a broken dream
And we'll leave it all, leave it all behind!

I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
    I won't look back
    I'll fight to remain!

On this day I see clearly
    Everything has come to life
A bitter place and a broken dream
And we'll leave it all, leave it all behind!
On this day its so real to me
    Everything has come to life
Another chance to chase a dream
    Another chance to feel
    Chance to feel alive!

Fear will kill me, all I could be
Lift these sorrows, let me breathe
    Could you set me free?!?
    Could you set me free?!?

On this day I see clearly
    Everything has come to life
A bitter place and a broken dream
And we'll leave it all behind!
On this day its so real to me
    Everything has come to life
Another chance to chase a dream
    Another chance to feel
    Chance to feel alive!

P.S: The song was for you, Yak, seeing how much you love it and the "person" who uses it as his theme. Enjoy!

That bum. Or rather, just that non-charismatic guy. Good song though.

    And with 1 Final left....

....yes congrats Specterace, good drafting and good work. It definitely was a fun mini draft, thanks for participating everyone! I want to thank my Judging staff, you were great guys, and thanks goes to the GMs for playing and moving the draft. I had a good time with it and I hope you all did too. I hope to see you all again soon for the, now in the works, Wrestling Draft. See the Draft Discussion Thread for more details.

I'd just like to personally congratulate Specterace fashionably late, since it appears I forgot to post earlier. Thank you, Chim, once again, for hosting this draft even amidst all of your school needs (PM mee!).

I look forward to the future trials we have in store.
