Diamond and Pearl's info, I believe. But I could be wrong. Either way, Mew is responsible for pretty much every non-legendary and some legendaries. At least in some way or another.

Ok so I am debating if I should just suspend the Trainer picks until later. I want to do that because we don't have it all figures out just yet. I'm really doubting anyone is thinking of spending their first, second or probably even their third pick on a trainer at this point but stranger things have happened. But I also don't know of a 'fair' way to do that, fair being an operative word. I figure we could just re-randomize the draft order and have two rounds for just sole trainer picks at the end of all the Pokemon Drafting. I am tossing that around in my head right now and will be in PMs with the judges about it, feel free to chime in on the issue.

And speaking of judges, I am pleased to report that Dom and I have reached an agreement and he has decided to become a full time Judge for us. So as of now I am off the hook. Thanks Dom, I know I look forward to seeing your theatre/judgments.

we shoudl get to draft our trainers in reverse order, meaning i go first and kyptastic goes last...... coming from a completely unbiased opinion of course. then in the second trainer round, flip it around, ao id get first and sixteenth picks and kypto would get eighth and ninth.... you know what i mean.

Alright, being a judge and all, I present you with your first round breakdowns.

    Kyptastic - Dragonite

Easily one of the best picks in the draft. He's nearly as strong as Tyranitar with the bonus of being able to fly. Great pick.

    A+

    KiwiRogue - Tyranitar

An absolute offensive and defensive monster, you should have little trouble winning in single matches with this guy, though with his destructive rampages that may come back to get you in teams.

    A+

    Specterace - Articuno

Articuno is more of a strategic pick than the others on the board. Rather than being a pure powerhouse on his own, his variety of type-based attacks and stat-boosting moves are what really makes him useful.

    A

    BaSSiL - Mew

Mew is solid across the board statwise, but his limited number of attacks and lack of outstanding stats in any one area means he's not going to do as well if he goes up against somebody who won't immediately fall to his psychic attacks.

    A-

    RX_Sith - Moltres

Moltres has a lot of powerful attacks, plus he's one of those types that can keep on fighting for a long time. Not much else to say.

    A

    black_dog - Entei

Entei is good, but he suffers from statistically being weaker than most of the other first rounders. Solid Fire pick, though.

    A-

    PRENN - Charizard

Charizard is a definite powerhouse, but he suffers from some really nasty type weaknesses. His variety of attack types will come in handy, though. He should be able to take out just about anyone who isn't type-resistant to his attacks.

    A

    chaotic - Alakazam

Alakazam is a first-rate psychic, but the rest of his abilities aren't that great, sort of a one hit only guy with his low defense. I'd say hope that he doesn't run into anyone faster than him or who is Psychic-resistant.

    B+

Imo we should just leave the judge picks on the board, and use the TMs that were on that list.

I'll give breakdowns after a few rounds.

why dont you judge zapdos instead. in truth i would draft him first, but i just listed him at the same time.... -_-

so.... entei gets a minus while charizard gets an A? entei would rip charizard open :\

Not so. Once you get past the "Ooh, Legendary!" barrier, Entei isn't all that great. Charizard can fly, Entei can't. Charizard equals him in speed and beats him in special attack and defense.

What about him? You had two back-to-back picks, you picked Alakazam and Zapdos. Logically, the first was your first round pick and the second the second round pick.

blegh, fair enough. -_-.. although given a single coice i would have picked zapdos... but the breakdowns dont really matter anyway... i was just listing them cuz i knew i had two picks.. i saw kazam first. but it doesnt matter, in the end.

Although Entei has a much greater HP and attack, and slightly greater defense. And Flying only really eliminates the Ground weakness while making the Rock vulnerability twice as bad, as well as a weakness to Electric attacks. Of course, these are supposed to be more practical battles, and I suppose flight may be a significant enough of an advantage. Maybe.

The Alakazam family can be knocked over by a stiff breeze. Granted, they'll mind-crush anyone if they can hit first

That's the core of the matter right there, practical battling. In a practical fight, flying grants a much greater advantage than in the game, where attacks making contact only depends on speed and accuracy.
