    Damn.

    It's really frustrating to see so many potentially useful picks fall so low, only for GMs to snatch them right before you can get them.

    Oh well, this may not be the most powerful pick on the board, but in terms of what he brings (namely, fast anti-psychic+anti-ghost+anti-anything weak to fire effectiveness), he's easily the best option up there.

    Plus, he's one of my all-time favs.

    Houndoom, the Dark Pokemon

    [image=http://www.pokemex.com/6/articulos/img/houndoom.jpg]

    Upon hearing its eerie howls, other POKéMON get the shivers and head straight back to their nests.

    Kiwi, you is clock.

    ::scratches a few more from the list::

    Some I wasn't really expecting to get, but missing Suicune by that much... ah well. Pick to be made in a little while.

    Eh... I guess I'll go with Espeon, the Sun Pokémon:

    [image=http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u223/MeshuHell/espeon.jpg]

    Pokédex: ESPEON is extremely loyal to any TRAINER it considers to be worthy. It is said that this POKéMON developed its precognitive powers to protect its TRAINER from harm.

    Entei has a lot higher HP, though, and Attack. Also where Charizard's stats are higher, the gap isn't as high as where Entei's are higher. Just didn't want it to seem like Entei was a total loser compared to Charizard.

    Going to go with Kingdra and Magneton

    [image=http://faqsmedia.ign.com/faqs/image/ani230.gif] [image=http://soluciones.solucionesytrucos.org/pokedex/magneton.gif]

    Kingdra's good because it's water type eliminates Ice as a problem for it's dragon type, whilst dragon protects it from grass and electric. It's only weakness is dragon, but since I have the only other dragon that won't be a problem.

    Magneton will be useful as an electric type, while it's steel type makes it very well protected. It's levitate also makes it immune to ground attacks, important for an electric pokemon.

    The Kyptastic Experience

    Dragonite
    Dragon/Flying Type
    [image=http://www.asmodee.com/produits/901/149_dragonite.jpg]
    An extremely rarely seen marine POKéMON. Its intelligence is said to match that of humans.

    Kingdra
    Water/Dragon Type
    [image=http://faqsmedia.ign.com/faqs/image/ani230.gif]
    It stores energy by sleeping at underwater depths at which no other life forms can survive.

    Magneton
    Electric/Steel Type
    [image=http://soluciones.solucionesytrucos.org/pokedex/magneton.gif]
    The Magnemite are united by magnetism so powerful, it dries all moisture in its vicinities.

    hate to break it to you, but magneton doesnt have levitate.... although.. how realistic is that? i like your logic behind those picks though,

    I'm only going off memory, but I'm sure that was its innate ability. I'm probably wrong though.

    He levitates, but he's still weak to Ground moves, sorry. Though that's going by the games, it may turn out differently in practice....

    Yeah, it could probably avoid Earthquake and Magnitude, and possibly Dig. But Mud Slap would be a problem (don't think Mud Bomb was in the game by the Gold/Silver era)

    Actually, Magneton's big problem is that those Steel-type properties make it very vulnerable to a fire Pokemon. It won't beat hardly any fire-types users due to how slow it is compared to them. And in a team battle, if the opposition has a fast or durable fire Poke that isn't weak to electric attacks, Magneton goes down fast. But he's a great Pokemon nevertheless, and one I was hoping would slip to me in the 4th.

    And Mud-slap IS a big problem for Mag, thanks to it's 4X weakness to ground (2X elec. + 2X steel). In fact, Dugtrio is it's absolute worst nightmare (big speed, Mud-slap, and good attack).

    Still, your worries will center on having Magneton hit a fire Poke (of which there are lots). Because in that case, it's done for.

    Specterace

    P.S: And I was really hoping no one would notice Kingdra... Oh well, back to the drawing board...

    Hmm... err... uh... let's go with Venusaur, the Seed Pokémon.

    Evolution Revolution:

    1. Tyranitar, the Armour Pokémon.

    [image=http://content.answers.com/main/content/wp/en/thumb/f/f3/200px-Tyranitar.jpg]

    Pokédex: TYRANITAR is so overwhelmingly powerful, it can bring down a whole mountain to make its nest. This POKéMON wanders about in mountains seeking new opponents to fight.

    2. Espeon, the Sun Pokémon.

    [image=http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u223/MeshuHell/espeon.jpg]

    Pokédex: ESPEON is extremely loyal to any TRAINER it considers to be worthy. It is said that this POKéMON developed its precognitive powers to protect its TRAINER from harm.

    3. Venusaur, the Seed Pokémon.

    [image=http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k169/jason_gecko/venusaur_cor.jpg]

    Pokédex: Its plant blooms when it is absorbing solar energy. It stays on the move to seek sunlight.

    EDIT: I was considering Kingdra, but didn't really care too much.

    Excellent.

    Even though this guy's a legendary, he would have been a reach in the first round. But in the third, it's time he went off the board.

    Celebi, the Time Travel Pokemon

    [image=http://www.legendarypokemon.net/images/dp_artwork/251.png]

    This POKéMON came from the future by crossing over time. It is thought that so long as CELEBI appears, a bright and shining future awaits us.

    Good stats across the board, and covers my psychic needs and can kill water-types, rock-types, and ground-types as well with it's leaf powers. Plus, it's a time-traveler. How unique is that?

    Specterace

    P.S: BassiL, clock is you.

    Is that so? Well then, Celebi looks WAY better now, what with that massively-powered grass move it gets in D/P. Add in Ancientpower and Future Sight, and it looks good indeed.

    And if we consider D/P, Articuno just became way more valuable, what with Mindreader->Sheer Cold combo and it's support moves added to the impressive Ice Beam and Blizzard it already had.

    Specterace

    P.S: I don't think we're using egg moves. It's kinda like TMs: to get those moves on, you need a specific set of circumstances that are beyond the scope of training and even prep. Except that you can use trainers to get TMs, but nothing here allows for a Poke to have been bred to have certain moves it doesn't learn normally.

    Seven of my top 20 guys are still out there. Surprising, some of the ones taken I didn't think would have been. I guess people are going for the best overall diverse teams and not just the most powerful overall picks.

    Some of these teams are gonna be beastly, I can feel it.
