Interesting picks to say the least, and I am with TLI in saying there are some guys p there that just... shouldn't be. With the way these teams are going we might be able to support 3-4 more teams.

Oh, they can't overlap? Well in that case, I'll point out that Gary has taunt also. We should change his to swagger.

Well, just now figuring out i cant get Gengar..... so ill go for a powerhouse that will keep me safe from those ridiculous dark types. ill take the horizon-chucking slugger Machamp

and for round 4.. i need someone who can stand a lil bit of pressure of other powerful foes. ill take Crystal Oni---i mean Steelix

    Breakdowns as of Round Three.

    Kyptastic - Dragonite, Kingdra, Magneton

Great pick with Kingdra, Magneton has a lot of dangerous weaknesses but partially makes up for it with his high number of resistances. I can see this team winning it if you pick up a couple good ones to cover the remaining types.

    A+

    KiwiRogue - Tyranitar, Espeon, Venusaur

Espeon is good for a psychic, similar to what I said for Alakazam in hoping that he doesn't run into anyone faster than him. Venusaur is a green leafy tank, and in the right environment he could potentially be almost unbeatable. Very solid team. Needs a Fire/Water type, though.

    A+

    BaSSiL - Mew, Suicune, Starmie

Two very solid Legendaries, nice move there. Starmie is a real head-scratcher, though. I mean, he's really limited in what he can do. There's still a stellar Water-type on the board who I'm surprised hasn't gone yet.

    A

    black_dog - Entei, Raikou, Gyarados

Entei/Raikou pair was a nice pickup, and Gyarados was a great catch in the third round. This team could become a real contender for the championship, I'd say.

    A

    PRENN - Charizard, Flareon, Scyther

The Fire theme I like, and Scyther is always a solid pick. Mixing them should produce interesting results. You might want to pick up some heavyweights to counter the comparatively light and small Flareon and Scyther.

    A

    chaotic - Alakazam, Zapdos, Machamp

Alakazam/Machamp combo is great, probably the best non-Legendary Psychic and Fighting types you're going to get in Kanto/Johto. Zapdos provides some Legendary power here. Definitely a solid team covering all the bases. I'd recommend picking up a few basic elemental types.

    A

    Specterace - Articuno, Houndoom, Celebi

Houndoom was an interesting pick, though I don't believe he's second round material, closer to fourth or fifth. Celebi will either save your or kill you, with as many type weaknesses as he has.

    A-

    RX_Sith - Moltres, Jolteon, Blissey

....Blissey? Blissey? And Jolteon? Jolteon is in with the other -eons in being a good bundle of power in a small package, but rather fragile if they're up against someone who they can't outrun. I'm quite curious as to where this team is going.

True, but that only grants him two extra moves and still takes up a trainer prep that could be used on a weaker, late rounder.

Last Animated when Mewtwo uh... Disappeared... He wasn't allowed anymore, even when someone tried to draft him. I say here, with 2 people having wanted him, we definitely can't allow gengar back in, or any of the other ghosts that were lost.

    Thanks, TLI.

But Houndoom a fourth or fifth rounder?

    ?!

    No. Sorry, but no.

He's got 319 Special Attack (better than any starter Poke and a few of the legendaries). Translation: Those Flamethrowers will hurt VERY BAD. Pity any leaf, ice, steel, or bug Pokemon that hits him (or one with such vulnerabilities). And if you send a guy with low Sp. Defense against him, pity him too.

He's got 354 HP (a few points shy of any starter). Translation: He can take a fair bit of damage, and with 290 speed + smallish size, can avoid a lot of attacks so he doesn't have to get hit. Plus, against a fair bit of Pokes up there, he'll get first blood.

He's a Dark Type, with the most powerful dark attacks, and the stats to use them. Translation: If you're a Psychic type or use Psychic attacks, you're better off just forfeiting the match. (EDIT: And not that it matters now, but if you have Ghost vulnerabilities, you might as well call it in too).

On this list, he's roughly a third-round pick. Not top tier, but he can take down a ton of guys who are in the top tier and the "second tier", thanks to his types, his movelist, and his stats. And if I draft the right guys as support and power, he'll utterly destroy people in team battles.

And given who was on that board and where I would pick next after the third, I grabbed him right where I wanted to.

There was only one other Ghost available from the two games, and Misdreavous was never on the list from the start... peculiar... oh well.

::white-outs Gengar and Misdreavous from the list::
