Gaming Kanto wait to Go catch 'em all: Pokémon!

At this point i've been playing PKMN RPG's since the day Red/Blue were released, and i gotta say...

Im not gonna get Platinum.

I think my Pokecraze(see: Addiction) is finally over. Feels good.

I just cannot see myself even playing it through to the Elite Four after i already did D/P. It's too "Meh."

If they make a DSi remake of every pokemon game on 1 cartridge(Kanto/Johto/Sinnoh/That other one), or a hardcore console not 2d/3dish, but real console game, the series would pick up alot more steam.

 

Isn't Platinum just Pearl/Diamond with a different pokemon and a few extra features? That's my understanding and I won't be getting it on that.

A DSi remake of them all wouldn't work, it'd still need to fit onto a DS cartridge or they'd have to find a way to copy protect an SD card to stop people copying it. Either way, I don't think it's feasible. It's a nice idea though.

 

Plat. has the fly shaymin. What is a pokevirus?is it bad? I never really got what it is.

 

Ah, yes, that virus actually improves the performance of your pkmn. and it spreads. next thing you know, they start craving flesh then you have to escape through one of four campaigns where you either play as a war vet, a biker, an office man, or a woman.

I managed to complete Emerald for the first time on sunday (as platinum is too far away for PAL release I decided to give hoenn a try),I have a non-cheated alternate-colour regice which I'm very pleased to have, which will go along with my blue psyduck on FireRed.

When I was a kid, my yellow version was stolen, along with my GBC.
I knew who did it, but I only got my GBC back.

Still had blue though, so I wasn't super depressed.

It's come a LOOOONG way since, looking at Pearl.
Now I'm a little depressed posting here since I lost both my DSs (just saw the lite somewhere...)

Anybody know of some good areas to train? I'm trying to train my Onix and Lucario from lvl 30 and up but I can't find a decent area in this game.

 

I you put Exp. share on them a awsome place to train is with the elite 4

 

I beat the Elite 4 53 times in Ruby. It got to the point that I could beat them without looking at the screen. It was a dark time for me.

 

I usually train at the elite for as well, I beat thim 73 times. it is agreat place to raise a pokemon from about lv 5 to about lv 15.

Elite 4 aren't ideal for Effort values.

 

I did it to evolve pokemon to fill out the Pokedex, not to train. I don't know what effort values are anyway.
