No offense but that poll really stinks for wizards, all of the options given above are better than Yoda, he isn't even close to a "wizard-type".

I can add a few very popular wizards from the fantasy genre,

All of those are rather popular in the fantasy genre, they would be alright additions IMO. Although if you add those "heroes" should not be in the title, "Favorite Wizard" would be better because not all are good guys.

 

True, although the point of the current poll was to have three leading 'wizard-type' characters from three famous films.

However, if droideka wants to do a new poll for favourite wizard from anywhere and not include wizard-type's, I have no problems with that.

 

Yeah, it is a fine line I suppose. Honestly though this is not the first time this discussion has been brought up about that thread, and for any true fantasy lover that list is really off as far as representing wizards.

It would be nice to see one that represents fictional wizards as well, but that is up to droideka27.

 

Fictional wizards? Of course, Gandalf lived and breathed only a few years ago!
