ST Poll: The race of Snoke

Not sure he will be a race at all, more of a spirit or phantom.

However, I and also in the notion of the Hyslarian like Merric pointed out above.

 

So... Snoke will be smoke? That's fitting.

 

I'm hoping Snoke is something we haven't seen before.

A Hutt? God no! Let's have something that befits the look of the rest of the movie. I've never liked Hutts always thought the concept of Jabba was the weakest aspect of the OT.

Grievous is what I'm going to use as my example. And Vader was more machine now than man...

What if Starkiller base - IS supreme commander Snoke? He may have been a living organism and may still be... but he functions through the base itself.

In all serious though - It's NOT a planet is it? Not in the technical astronomers' definition of a planet. It is a SPACE STATION. It may have even been organic once for all we know.

I expect something more along the lines of The Matrix

My argument is, IF Grevious was once some alien or human who has removed every unnecessary component of himself leaving just his heart, lungs and brain (and eyes etc...) and became a droid... and Vader WAS more machine than man... then the technology is clearly there to wire a sentiment being into something like a Death Star and have them "BE" it. The Mo-Cap would be his metal/alien body conversing with his immeadiate underlings such as Kylo. He would KNOW what was going on without having to be informed... Force sensitive or not.

Anyway... It's a thought. A speculation based on the limited information on both the Starkiller and Snoke that we have to date.

 

He could be an Ewok with a thyroid problem.

That being said, I think he's going to be either human or a race we haven't seen before.

 

Probably something similar to Yuuzhan Vong

 

What's the deal with this poll? Nothing has pointed to any of these options. I'm convinced he's a new species altogether.

Making Snoke an existing species would require a lack of imagination and be against a lot of what Star Wars movies have always been about: throwing as many strange, new visuals at the audience.

This isn't Star Trek. (Not that I don't like that either)

He is probably of a new race, but if he is not he belongs to one of these three races.

 

I understand your perspective now. The thing is though, Serkis was apparently on a 25 foot podium, with his voice booming out of a large sound system which seems to imply that he's very large and over 30 feet tall. 25 feet + his own height.

 

Well this info came after I made the poll and people are still deabting wether Snoke really is 7.5 meters tall or we simply misunderstood something.
