ST Poll: What do you think of the title?

Not sure how Dawn of the Force would be received any different then The Force Awakens...

As for Rise.. that's been WAY overused recently, no thanks.

In the end, after we have seen this new film, the title griping will vanish because it will fit like a glove, as all Star Wars titles do.

 

The Dawn of the Force might have the same meaning as awakening & way is overused.

 

Except The Dawn of the Force would imply the very beginning... it would work for an origin story of the first ever Jedi maybe...

FWIW, I was joking with those titles--I think they're all awful. "The Force Awakens" is perfectly fine.

 

Yes it will forever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever & ever, yes that 7 times hence the episode number or the number of shots of blue milk I've had Aunt Beru keep them coming, anyway,Lucas cares not if the fan hates it I doubt he had a hand in inventing it. Mixed views on movie titles are always around, I mean what would happen if a title was going to pick & everybody knew it then there would questions on creating a title no one expected.

When I heard, A New Dawn, thrown around, I was happy. If it's really gonna be, The Force Awakens, I will be so disappointed. Ah well. Good movies sometimes have stupid titles. Doesn't mean the movie will suck.

 

If the title fits, it's not stupid.
