If you could change one event in the Star Wars universe, what would it be? (just humor me, I'm really bored..)

 

I'd stop the Episode II Newbie Invasion so they didn't post so much.

Real answer: I'd keep Qui-Gon alive to train Anakin. That would change everything else.

 

It's not my fault I have nothing to do until school starts. Blame it on labor laws that restrict the job options for those under 16. Anyway, I have to go with JediGaladriel on this. Qui-Gon would have raised Anakin much better than Obi-Wan did.

Get Palpatine inducted into the Jedi Order and ensure he stays on the good side.

 

There is one thing I still don't get. How could the Jedi overlook Palpatine? If he has so much power, wouldn't they have noticed something?

 

Well, that's covered in AotC. Something is blinding them. Remember, Mace thinks it's time to inform the Senate that they aren't able to use the Force as well, and Yoda says that it's better that the don't, since it would multiply the ranks of their enemies.

First thing i would change would be Ewoks!! there is no way that a legion of the emperors best men could be defeated by a group of walking teddy bears,Thats just so wrong!!

When they got a hold of that AT-ST, is when things really started to turn around.

Joke answer: I'd have had another pod race in AOTC.

Real answer: They'd have blown up Dantooine instead of Alderaan. Would have been nice to see that planet in something other than pictures and words.

Oh no, don't you remember the Ewok movies? They kinda talked...Even though they didn't in Jedi. Which leads one to ask where the !@#$ in the "continuity" do they happen? (I know it's been answered someplace)
BUT

Jedi - Ewoks don't speak Basic and act like they've never seen blasters or humans.
Ewok movies - Wicket speaks some Basic (English) and Ewoks see blasters and apparently humans for the first time. Endor appears to have not really been colonized by anyone but pirates (or whatever), so it couldn't be post-Jedi

i remembering watching those ewok movies when i was like 5.

and i remember actually LIKING them!

but yet i remember watching ROTJ after seeing battle for endor and thinking, why can't the ewoks talk any more? and where's that cool raven lady?

I read this really funny thing where it said that they had children in the Jawa and Ewok costumes and they sometimes had problems when the kids started crying. They had a similar problem with AOTC's Bear Clan. The kids wouldn't leave the helmets on and they kept wandering off the set. I think I also heard about one kid hitting another with the lightsaber.
