Poor Wicket

When wicket, (the ewok that finds leia) are heaving rocks at stormtroopers by attaching them to ropes and swinging them around. Wicket is the unlucky Ewok who loses control and the rope wraps around his head and the rock hits him in the face, wouldn't he have died or something?

I mean getting hit in the face with a rock has got to hurt, but his only reaction is a high pitched "wooaa!"

 

Yeah, you'd think if the rocks can kill stormtroopers, they would hurt an Ewok.

 

I'm afraid to say I found it terribly amusing.

 

The rocks didn't kill the stormtroopers at all.

 

Wicket obviously lives, he's there at the ceremony at the end.

 

Yes, but he SHOULD have been walking around cursing in Ewok tongue for about 10 minutes

Ewoks are made of pure fur, so it did not hurt him!

 

Another reason why I fear Ewoks: super strength against the power of rocks.

 

But hey since their pure fur they burn like paper!

Just throw a burning stick at them and they're out for the count

 

It's a movie, many things in SW are like this, he probably tried to add some humor in the battle like with 3PO in Geonosis.

Other things that aren't explained are how come Vader stopped Boba from shooting Chewie? Can you imagine how upset everyone(the kids especially) would have been seeing everyone's favorite co-pilot/Wookie/character get killed. The theatre would overflow with tears. But the logical answer is Vader probably wanted to extract secrets from the Wookie.

I hate how they made Jar Jar do similar things in tpm. Didn't he lung a blue ball and hit himself as well?

 

The force works in mysterious ways. It looked out for Jar Jar and Wicket.
