So, how much does getting a pop-up on the JC cost?

They should be zapped into hyperspace now. Yubnub!

 

And Carter, the caped hero, uses his abilities of super deleting power to zap another evil pop-up into hyperspace and saves the day again as he flys off into the distance. But he'll return! The "Dude, Where's My Car" one scared the crap outta me when I first heard it at 2am in my bedroom last year.

I would have liked the Moulin Rouge banner had it not talked. It was too freaky. Love the movie, don't like the talking banner.

This pop-up ad thing is getting annoying though. The lack of pop-up ads was/is one of the best things about this site.

 

I got another pop-up ad today.

I punched my LCD monitor, threw it on the floor, jumped on it from the seat, pounded it with a hammer, lit it on fire then dropped it out of the 24th story window.

I think it's gone now.

I hate pop-ups.

 

I just got one....and a few other people have told me they have gotten one sometime in the last day.

 

It's from that stupid survey ad. I got a pop-up in the JCC just a few minutes ago.

 

I would be one of those people to whom Dagsy refers.

this was a popup ad free zone before i got one,now its not they have invaded our popup ad free paradise.

EDIT: Well, crap! I just got another one of those stinking things when I went to check my PMs.

 

CARTER: How are those "imperial technicians" coming along on this problem?

If you're going to have a problem reported and don't intend to do anything about it, why not just say so? Why throw us a bone and let it come back to bite you in the posterior four months later?

 

I dont think Carter could do much with this. The way it works is that IGN put on ads, the JC has to ask to have them removed.

IGN can then choose to leave them or remove them as they please. This means that they can also bring them back as they please.

I dont know what it has to do with Carter?

 

I've had two in the past 24 hours, despite having Ad-Aware installed and on the look out for evil Pop-Up majiks and other form of advertising hobgoblinary.

 

I've had a few as well. Carter did say something was being done about it, and for a period of time I suppose it was. He'll just have to do it all again.
