I am researching several movies to find out what made them successful. What made Star Wars a hit, with an ever growing fan base, still after 30years since creation? Was it the story, theme, the charactors. What was it? Any comments you have would greatly help my research. Thank-You & Happy Holidays
Well Cranie, that's a REAL easy question to answer, because all you have to do is look at what made each movie a hit: A New Hope: Something no one's ever seen before, plus Sci-Fi was big then Empire Strikes Back: Great story. And the bad guy wins! Definatly best plotline and best sequel out there Return of the Jedi: Two words: Slave Leia j/k the end of a great trilogy with an explosive ending Phantom Menace: The belief that it was going to be good. But well all know how that turned out...
30 years since creation? Pardon me, but I don't recall SW being around since 1972 There's a simple explanation for what made it popular: It was better than Star Trek
*ahem* BOBA FETT you can't deny it! Oh, and Slave Leia GRrrrrrrrrrrrr I can't wait for Episode II, though! If you have been looking at all the pics of Padme in that white jumpsuit.....
Yes it's true...I'm gonna make it....the white battle jumpsuit...and Graeme said he wants to help me...heh heh heh Mmmmrrrroooowwwrrrr!!!!!
