Yes, that's what I did since I wasn't interested in the other two games. I regret it, but that's the more sensible option.
Portal 1 is slow? Last time I played it I finished it in an hour. Yes, the Unstationary Scaffolding is slow as hell, but only the one by the dual portal gun really slows you down. Especially since in Portal 1 bunny-hopping still works, one of the first things I missed in P2.
They just announced Vol 3 of the OST ... and in a throwaway line they casually mention that we get some free DLC next Wednesday. Huh.
I think so. This is the same DLC that was originally slated for "Summer". In Valve time it's actually early.
Finally got around to playing co-op with my cousin recently. The solution to the last level in Chapter 4 is freakin' brilliant.
Still yet to get around to doing the co-op mode (being a PC gamer it's hard to find anyone else I know who has it), but I replay the game often as I did with the first. But it should keep me distracted until Valve finally get around to talking about when Half Life 3 is coming out. Although, if it's more than a year I may have to go down the route of a total Half-Life series replay again (that's if they do the Black Mesa revamp of part 1)
This is very disappointing. I already had mine pre-ordered when I got the email this morning. http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/12/replica-portal-gun-canceled-without-reason-compassion/ I can only hope the real reason is the portal devices actually worked and now the NECA plant's computer has taken over the plant and all the employees are trapped and forced to undergo testing.
