Dark Side Troopers will be there, plus have a backdrop for pictures.
There lots of good Comic Book artists, writers, and tons of stuff to buy. I Always find some Star Wars stuff there.
I'll have Oregon FanForce fliers to put out at the media table near the front doors, hopefully that will draw in new members.

Well let's discuss this. We can either just plan meeting there, or we can plan and have a meeting, to plan something for the comic book show. We can get together before hand make a plan. Now, we can possibly get the OFF insignia on a shirt as well. I think we need to get our ideas together and what we can do make a date to meet up and then discuss it to wear shirts, your fliers and other such stuff and ideas. So, do shall we have a meeting?

 

And we will be there all day! Looks like we will have 20 troopers and All That Jazz Photography taking professional pics.

And I have even less income now than I did last time... One of these days I'll be able to make it to the show.

 

If you are wanting to go, I am sure we can come up with the means to get you in.

Thanks, guys. It's not just the admission cost, though. I mean, what's the fun of a comic book show if you can't buy anything? I'll make it to the next one!

 

But that is another year before we (as costumers) do this again! Man, that bytes!

It says that admission is $7.00 for ages 8 and older. Which is perfect, since my son does not turn 8 until April 15th !!

 

This coming Sunday 4/13! Hope to see lots of OFF people there.

Oh, by the way everyone, it sounds like Bill plans to be in his Imperial Officer costume at the comic book show.

 

Well considering it is the only that I have that isn't in a state of disrepair, or incomplete. Yeah, I will be the officer.

Comic books are awesome though I never have had a chance to expand my geekdom in that area. I guess they are just too "passable" if that makes any sense.

If I had a means, I'd go just for fun!

haha, no I wasn't there. My days of hiding from the fanforce are over.

Though a friend of mine was there. When I found out he went all I could do was laugh and think about you guys, haha.

Okay, you guys look awesome! Now I regret not being there.

Seriously though, we need to plan a "If this is the only time in history EVERYONE from the fanforce comes to a meeting, then so be it" meeting.
I realize an OFF meeting is just not really going to be on people's priority lists EVER... so I think if we treat this meeting as the special "one time only" and "come just this once" kind of thing, then it might be successful. haha.,

 

Rob thanks for posting some of the Pictures...yes that was me next to my wife karyn the femtrooper. i took off my stormtrooper armor to hang at the show after my Morning and early afternoon shift.. It was a blast to see everyone and troop . Next time you will have to come. Our next gathering is at Tony's comic Kingdom in Keizer Oregon from 11:00 till 3:00 on May 3rd. Peace, Allan
