Portland Science of Star Wars Exhibit

Mos Everett is planning to go in November (we had to put it off due to surgeries and dead cars) so if anyone is interested in tagging, we'd be glad to have you.

My trip down there this weekend was canceled.

I'd be up for the 22nd.

I got the 22nd off incase we go down.

I'm hosting a dinner par-tay at my place on the 22nd, so I can't make it.

I am going to have to go another day. But plenty of time still.

I was going to come in here and asked how it was. Some of us Mos Everettonians are going there on Sunday November 19th at 1pm. We'll be driving down on Saturday and spending the night, going to the Museum on sunday. Paulie has some errands to run on Saturday nearby, and I was thinking of tripping on over to check out either Powells bookstore (on my own unless some other Mos Everett folks are joining me that day) , or maybe spending a few hours at Orycon (it's that weekend as well)

Admission Prices

Star Wars Admission (includes Museum admission)...15.00

Millennium Falcon admission (includes Souvenir Pin)...5.00 (yup, this costs extra, but I'll definitely be doing this)

Star Wars PLUS Admission (basically it's the Star Wars Admission plus either a Sub Tour, or Planetarium show)...18.00

I'm not sure what everyone wants to do or not. Personally I will be doing the Star Wars Admission and the Millennium Falcon Admission. If anyone wants to do the Star Wars Plus Admission I'm down with that also. But, time allowing, we can hang out down there and do whatever y'all want to do.

Also on this day at their OMNIMAX...Antartica and Happy Feet are showing (of course, like everything else there, it will cost extra).

They do have a Museum Combo (includes museum admission, one OMNIMAX movie, and your choice of one planetarium show or one submarine tour)...19.00 (but, I have no idea if this will include the Star Wars Exhibit or not)

Another thing is getting down there. If we all meet at the "regular" carpool spot, it will take us close to 4 hours to drive there (give or take a bit for traffic, weather, accidents, etc...). My Suburban can hold 7 people total (including me), so I can squeeze 6 more of us into it if needed.

What day is everyone actually going? John and I will be over there to visit family for a belated gathering the weekend after Christmas and we really want to see this exhibit. Would there be any room to bum a ride down with y'all? We'd help with gas of course... It would be awesome to finally meet everyone!

We are going to be heading down there on December 27th.
