Portsmouth Meet: 9th December, 12:45 at Portsmouth & Southsea station

Just thought I'd get this rolling

When do you want your meet then guys? *prays more than 3 people can make at least one weekend* Hehe. Second meet, here we come!

 

I'm free every weekend, but I can't pick them all. This is why I put the poll on my lj and linked to it rather than do it on here.

Oh, and it only needs to be open for a few days, otherwise the first few options will be pointless.

So we have either a definate two or a possible three? Anyone else at all who could make it?

 

I'm a very tentative possibility for the last three weekends, but with the current level of schoolwork I can't be certain.

 

Well, its certainly looking better than it was! Are we just going for a date in November or looking at dates in December as well?

 

We could do december. I'm in portsmouth for every weekend up untill the weekend before christmas.

 

December might be easier for me. Perhaps we could suggest a couple of weekends in December as well and see if that gets a better response?

I can't make the 18/19 november weekend. I'm off to brighton on the 18th, then I'll be having a quiet day on the 19th as it's my brithday.

 

It seems that we have two choices - either the weekend at the end of November or 9/10 December as these seem to be the best dates for most people.

meh - please anyone decide on something, because the closer the dates approach the more unlikely it is they remain free for me. I must say that the one in november has been taken up now, the first one in december still looks free. I would love to meet you guys! honestly!

Any ideas what we plan to do for the weekend?

 

Something winter-ish? Christmas-like? And how about a Chrimbo dinner to finish day off?
I am recommending a gift exhange to FF-UK Wales for their Cardiff meet in December - maybe an idea for you to use Everyone buys one gift (£5 max say) and then they get handed out randomly?

 

...noted down in the calendar! I like the gift-idea now I just hope I won't be on a trip abroad that week (I get these things said really short notice...)

 

There's a pub that has a deal on meals, two for £6, or something like that, they serve real ale there too.
