Posible Title of Episode III

    Hello all sorry I havnt been on the computer much latly. I had a thought the other day about the title of episode 3.
    So here is the best I came up with
    "The Fall of a Jedi" or falling. Lucas is using the same ideas from the old trilagy for this one. The title is close to the episode 6 title Return of the Jedi so I think I got it right. What do you think?

    I read that Lucas blurted it out someplace and the video had to be bleeped, seems odd that he would make a mistake like that.

    I've heard possible titles are:

    "Fall of the Jedi"
    "Rise of the Sith"
    "Fall of the Republic"
    "Rise of the Empire"

    All of which sound fine to me.

    it will more than likely be either " rise of the empire " or " genesis of vader "
    i dunno, whatever lucas comes up with.

    Most likely it will sound awful or cheesy at first then you will either get used to it or call the movie by it's numerical release!

    I had thought a bunch up around the release of AOTC... but none of the ones I came up with then were as good as the one I thought up last week.

    Star Wars Episode III - The Sith Revealed

    It has a cheesy serial feel to it, which GL likes. Plus if you look at the two trilogies, the titles are opposite of each other regarding who they refer to.

    For example, movie 1:
    The Phantom Menace - Villains
    A New Hope - Heroes

    Movie 2
    Attack Of The Clones - Heroes
    The Empire Strikes Back - Villains

    Movie 3
    ??? - Presumably Villains
    Return of the Jedi - Heroes

    If you look at how the titles mirror each other in the first and second movies, then you'll probably think as I do that Ep3 will have to refer to the Sith, the opposite of the Jedi. And there have been 2 "of the" titles (AOTC, ROTJ) so I don't think it will be anything like Rise of the Sith. But I'm sure (I'm staying spoiler free so bear with me if I'm way off) that Palpatine will finally reveal that he was a Sith all along, and presumably Anakin will reveal that he has turned to the Dark Side too.

    Thoughts on my title guess?

    I just saw that the official working title is Revenge of the Sith. But it doesn't mean this will end up being the title of Episode 3 in the end.
