Possible Charm City Field Trip, This Weekend

A Message from the unofficial hospitality mistress of CCFF:


The High School where my planetarium is at is putting on "Kiss Me Kate". The planetarium is right across from the place where the play is being held. Tickets are $5.00 for students with i.d. and $8.00 for adults. Afterwards we can do dinner and discuss the icon and check out the planetarium. Times are 7:00 p. m. Friday and Saturday and 2:00 p. m. on Sunday. You people who were at the meeting have maps and business cards. If you'd like to go, PM me for more information and to let me know you are coming. I tried to PM everybody, but ended up spamming MuttandSolo, sorry!

Nobody is under obligation to go, it is 90 minutes from Baltimore, but it would be a nice romantic Valentine's weekend for you married guys to bring your wives. (i.e. DarthSapient, DRK_HLT, Luke_Starkiller) Hint, hint.

Well that sounds great but I've already got plans for this weekend since it is a three day weekend for us government workers (hehehe) We are traveling down to Tennessee to visit some friends. I will definitely be around for the next meeting though. 1,000 Dark Jedi couldn't keep me away!!! And please no condiment throwing at this meeting okay? I'm allergic to condiments (especially flying tartar sauce!!)

Edit: Oh and Rasberry Jam! And Yogurt too! I hate Yogurt! Even with strawberries!!

Spam isn't the half of it. I think I got your message 4 times! Anyway, I cannot make it either. Not that I have plans for Valentines Day. Actually for V-Day I plan on watching a lot of horror movies; nothing else to do. Actually I have a lot of errands to take care of this weekend, so I don't have the time to leave the state.

Sorry, Isbeth, but I'm out, too. Friday I am doing all of the prep work for the Four course French dinner I am making Saturday. (My wife and I are trying to set my brother up, and nothing is more romantic than a gourmet French dinner )

So I guess you're going to buy French bread, bake some French fries, and serve French toast.

And maybe a omlet du framage(sp). That's French for cheese omlet. How do I know this you ask?? Well I have a 5 year old son who watches Dexter's Laboratory and if anyone's seen this cartoon you will know what I'm talking about.

If only it were that simple! The chef in me chose the following menu:

Appetizer: Olives baked in Wine sauce served with warm goat cheese

Salad: Muscat salad with Dijon vinaigrette

Main Course: Roast Beef au jus
Wild mushroom and arugula crostini napolean
Tomato gratin

Dessert: Mango/raspberry sorbet
Lemon Sorbet

This is one of my smaller menus. I usually have a ton of leftovers when I make snacks for parties.
