Possible new JC look

I altered my DNA so I now have a small degree of tinting over my vision.

It really helps!

 

I think that if the usernames of users are in blue, then the names itself should be much darker than the background. Right now it's kind of hard to see them. Or back to the dark black bold would be good too.

The link colours are quite hard to see when hovering over them - is it possible to change them please?

The colour of the "1 New" PM seems a bit too dark a shade of red to go with the new colours...

Overall, I think that the new colours are quite nice, just that they're a bit light. Would be nice if they could be a wee bit darker, or the words and links at least.

I admit that I'm still leaning towards the old colours, but it'll be nice to have a change, and I'll be able to adapt soon enough. And these are a real flashback to UBB colours!

well, that puts a whole new spin on things

 

On the plus side it does match my Jar Jar icon I'm presently using because of a lost bet, but come Fall I ain't gonna have no more Jar Jar icon and I'll have virtually no excuse to like this color scheme.

Seriously, though, this is giving me a headache.

 

Luckily I'm watching Spinal Tap so I'm in a good mood, but how does this color scheme look on a Monday morning? I'll have to wear sunglasses in the office.

 

I thought they were a little bright at first, but my eyes are slowly adjusting. I think it might be a little better if the message area had a little more grey/white in it, so it wouldn't be as harsh.

It does remind me of when the JC first made the switch to snowboards/ign... if we want to be really nostalgic then we could go back to the white/light grey of UBB... hehehe

 

Yes, I also would like the white/grey look with some Council Spires on top...

I like it if only for nostalgia. It reminds me of the first color scheme on snowboard.

 

my opinion hasn't changed even though the mod squad's been sporting these colors for the last week. I still don't like them. I say keep the old ones.

 

Hmmm... I really like the color blue, but... I must admit I'm not terribly fond this arangement. I think the contrast between the blue and beige is too much.

But then again, it's not like I'd stop visiting if this was the new look.

It's a little too bright, and I don't really like the sky blue but maybe I'll grow to like it.

 

I like it, it's just the only thing i suggest is that you change your banner to a lighter color to match it.

I'd recommend replacing the light blue with a somewhat darker color. I like the tan-colored background.

 

I like the tan. I remember when it was like this before, but I believe it was slightly darker then. I prefer this to what we have now. If it was slightly darker, that would be cool too.

 

another thing i have noticed is that the emoticons don't look as good on the light-yellowish background...

or, maybe it's just me...?!

 

I like it. The drab red and grey was nice, but it's time for a change.
