ST Possible Spoiler about Force Tree

Did anyone else notice that Rey had a plant in her AT AT.?
Luke has 2 force trees in Shattered Empire and we know he gave one to Poe'so parents and had plans for the other.

I didn't see anything growing on Jakku and I'm thinking Rey was at least a student of Lukes or daughter and think he gave her the tree cutting as a test to put something ahead of yourself in extreme circumstances like feeding a plant when you don't have enough water for yourself.

It's a way of being selfless and putting another living thing before yourself.

Maybe it's nothing or maybe it's part of her training which I believe she had but was very young and has forgotten it before her awakening.

 

Rey was wearing Luke's x-wing helmut early in the movie. I think this is proof that Luke is her pops.

Trees that where taken from the jedi temple by sidious which Luke went on a mission with poe's mother in Shattered Empire.
