Well, ties that are meant to be worn with business suits, sure (I guess), but he's wearing jeans and converse. Also:
no yankee's post is the typical response of old men to my unorthodox tie-use as to the knot, honestly the four in hand is all i can be arsed to do because my tie usually gets screwed up a couple times a night from getting trapped between my body and my partner's (on pass-bys, mostly. occassionally a dip) and then i have to untie and retie it
coming out of a double spin in the middle of a very fast swing song... MY COPPER PAISLEY TIE IS IN DISARRAY this dip would look a lot better if i wasnt all hunchbacked and making a scary face. this can be said of much of my dancing

This thread always makes me like people more. Great group shot, Tunes. I love all your pics. @Rogue_Ten, I gotta admit that I never pictured you as a young dancer. Can't say what I pictured you as, if at all, but it's a pleasant surprise. I'm actually planning on picking up swing dancing next year. And all the pics of parents enjoying time with their kids just makes me plain happy. Awesome.
great idea, souderwan! its a lot of fun and a good way to meet new people and stay active. east coast swing is really fun and easy to learn. west coast has a bit more of a learning curve and seems more staid initially but is more versatile (goes with the beat of a lot of modern top 40 hiphop/pop). do you know which style you're interested in starting with?
