I couldn't have had better dinner partners, conversationists, and fellow hikers to get to the establishment. You who got free chicken tenders are complaining. If dinner hadn't taken that long, look at all the good talk we would have missed and the gossip shared. Raw pancakes, recycled "un" seasoned fries, cheery hostesses, and a restaurant full of star wars fans. You can't make stuff like that up.

 

You'd think so, wouldn't you? C3P0 will always have special meaning to those of us that attended CIV. We really need to find the recipe. I think it may have had pineapple juice in it too. They sure went down easy...maybe a little too easy!

Hey, my dear friends, no one owes me anything...I had such a great time with each and every one of you. That is payback enough. I am in certain agreement with the quest for the C3PO recipe. I'll check in with the bartender that got my room key, ahem (it really was a mistake ), and see if he'll give me the recipe! But where shall we drink them, fellow Rogues, where?

Okay, I am dying to know about the C3PO drinks. It sounds as if I need to investigate this drink and learn its ingredients.

I am so happy the Rogues had a great time and I am hearing from sources that the SVRF had one of the best tables honig. I told them "But of course!"

I want details, details, details!!!

I do remember there were cherries in the C3PO's!

edit: here's the recipe:

C3PO

1 dash Cointreau® orange liqueur (or Triple Sec or Vodka depending on preference)
1/2 oz peach schnapps
1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
1 part pineapple juice
1 part orange juice


Shake ingredients in mixer. Garnish with 2 orange slices to give impression of C3PO's eyes.


Serve in: Highball Glass

Woohoo! I remembered reading peach schnapps, peppermint schnapps, triple sec, pineapple juice, and orange juice...and a cherry for garnish. I just didn't know how much of anything.

To all of you who know that I usually do not partake of alcoholic beverages.......I only had 1......I swear.

It's missing the "Yoda" that Leia drank -- she said it was good though.

I just saw an advertisement for a bar in Davis that does 80's on Friday nights. I think we should plan a trip so we can show LDV that this scraggly band he commands knows how to have a good time...

 

the helmets exhibit was for awesome. They should be icons here.

 

Good find Jedidoria. The Princess' Pleasure and the Harrison Ford look pretty good, but I think the Jedi Cocktail should be called Blue Milk!

I think the Yoda had blue curacao and midori in it (for that nice green color) - not sure what else. It definitely wasn't as sweet as the C3PO.

Those are great pictures. Leia, you are the best, um, Leia, around! Your costume rocks...it was unnerving walking around with you. After all of that camera time, do you know how many men look at your picture now...each night before bed ...*shudder*...is that a comforting thought??
