Post-NJO Jedi Academy

What happened to the Academy after the Yuuzhan Vong war?

I semi-remember them saying that they weren't going back to Yavin, but did they elaborate on that?

Did they ever say where the new Academy was going to be located?

If they did, does anyone know anything about that planet? Is it desert/tropical/aquatic, etc.?

I don't think they said it, so you're probably free to put it anywhere.

They mentioned Ossus as a probable location for the new Academy. That's the planet the Jedi are believed to have originated from in the first place, I believe.

Don't know anything else about it though..

 

For me, i'd have one or two academy's on worlds that are known to have strong froce presences. but that's just me.

 

It says in "The Unifying Force"--page 507 in the hardcover, page 505 in the paperback, both US editions--that they're going to relocate to Ossus on a suggestion from Kam Solusar, which Luke agrees with.
