I actually did not like the movie much. And that is the 2nd version of the dude who jumped off the wall. perhaps it was another fight all together because in the other version he beat the dude up and let him get back on the wall and continue working on the film. Not exactly something you can do if your teeth got knocked out.

Also the fight in his school that he won not only made him drop what he would later call "the classical mess" it made him realize he was not in proper shape and he became a fitness monster. His injury was actually from throwing a kick and he pulled a few muscles in his stomach and back.
