Also, I just listened to a WTF interview with Paul Reiser that I enjoyed.

Forgot to mention who Paul Reiser even is. He's the guy from Mad About You, the '90s sitcom with Helen Hunt. He was also in Aliens way back when, where he had a sleazy villain role. He hasn't really done much, which I found out from his interview, is largely because he doesn't care that much either. He had a short stand-up stint in the early '80s, got offered a movie role, settled into a comfortable life and then was just content with low output. A really lucky guy in that respect, in that he wasn't really an achiever. He wanted to do something he liked, did it, had and still has a comfortable life doing it and doesn't particularly want more than that either. It's actually remarkable how, as he told it in the interview, opportunities really just landed in his lap without particular effort. Here's a stand-up clip of him from '86.

Today, I'm listening to Marc Maron interview Nigerian American comedian Godfrey. I happen to love Godfrey's stuff, I find him hysterically funny. But even if you're not familiar with Godfrey, it's a funny episode of the Maron podcast in its own right and interesting too. The interview is fairly recent, it's from this time last year.
