Someone had this Transformer and I tried to transform it. It's the first Transformer I've touched in ten years. I couldn't do it. I fiddled with it for about fifteen minutes before remembering the Michael Bay Optimus Prime has the long engine compartment in the front instead of a flat one. Even this expert on the toy takes a long time to transform it. Are these even made for kids who put them in play?

 

An amazingly cool "man cave" in the sky. The whole interview is awkward, the guy is trying to make it seem like it's not just a pound pad, but the place is pretty cool.

 

They're basically ******* each other mentally in this scene. I feel this wouldn't have made it past the cutting room in modern movies, not because audiences have become more prude (they haven't), but because the ubiquity of online porn makes it obsolete.

Still one of my most favorite end fights featuring gents from Chang Cheh's second (Ti Lung with the pipe, Chen Sing) and fifth (Ricky Cheng white suited flipping blade thrower) troupes.

It is because of these and two other fights within the movie that Shanghai 13 remains my kung fu blue blanket.
