At one point, Mozart is compared to Michael Jackson, and I concur. They were deprived of their childhoods by overbearing fathers and recessed into a childlike state as adults. Odd, but brilliant.
The documentary also delves into the actual nature of the professional, albeit friendly, rivalry between Mozart and Salieri, as well as dispelling the absurd notion that Salieri killed Mozart out of jealousy for being a mediocrity. He was, in fact, a good composer.
