A Fistful Of Dollars tv prologue An interesting story about this clip: This was made in the mid-1970s for ABC television, for their airing of A Fistful of Dollars. The network censors objected to the random killings on moral grounds, so they made this "prologue" that gave them some context to the violence. The warden in this scene is played by Harry Dean Stanton, and was NOT directed by Sergio Leone, nor was the Man With No Name played by Clint Eastwood, as he was portrayed by a double with closeups of Clint (Note you never see his face at any time in this video). It's stuff like this that must've made cable and home video a blessing when they arrived.
